"Smart Energy" Will Once Again Be a Top Subject at E-world energy & water 2015
Essen. As far as E-world energy & water is concerned, the signs continue to indicate growth: The "Smart Energy" subject area alone will increase by 25 percent in 2015. Thus, the intelligent and efficient utilisation of energy will once again be one of the top subjects at the premier European fair in the energy industry at Messe Essen.
"Smart Energy" Will Grow Once Again
On February 10 - 12, 2015, around 100 exhibitors at E-world will provide targeted information about intelligently controllable networks (smart grids), intelligent meters (smart metering), networked house technology and energy storage. Because of the great demand (immediately after E-world 2014, 80 percent of the exhibitors already announced that they would take part in the next event once again), the "smart energy" section will occupy not only the Galeria and Hall 4 but now also parts of Halls 6 and 7. Quite a lot of greats in the sector will introduce their innovative solutions - including the energy technology specialist ABB, the IT service providers Bosch Software Innovations and Reisewitz, the energy data specialist Thüga Metering-Service as well as the communications conglomerate and smart M2M operator Telefonica.
"Industry 4.0": M2M Communication for the Energy Industry
In 2015, the subject of "Industry 4.0" will be the most important trend in the sector in the "Smart Energy" section. The communication between machines, abbreviated as M2M communication, is becoming ever more important for the energy industry too because the automatic data exchange between devices on the energy generator, storage and consumer sides is leading to more efficient energy utilisation. Experts from the economic and scientific fields will present solutions, amongst other places, in a large number of forums and podium discussions.
Energy Turnaround Forum Will Supplement the "Smart Energy" Subject Area
The Energy Turnaround Forum which will be integrated into the "Smart Energy" subject area for the first time and will extend this with a second podium will also stand for new stimuli. Here, protagonists from the political, economic, scientific and research fields will discuss topical questions relating to all aspects of renewable energies, energy efficiency and energy storage and will present solutions.
