Sound Level Meter App Now Available in English

The Kutzner + Weber Tool for measuring flue gas noise was developed in 2012 and is very popular. The high demand has encouraged the Bavarian specialist of flue gas components to also make this sound level meter app available in English. The app can be downloaded in the Apple Store in the category “Utilities” and wins you over with its user-friendliness. Now specialists that don’t speak German can also quickly and easily collect acoustic data without expensive equipment. The device records values in the frequency range of 25 to 5.000 Hz and 0 to 110 dB(A).

The app allows for measurements in third-octave band as well as measurements of any length. Measurements are displayed in real time with calculation of sound pressure level during measuring. An external microphone can be connected in order to optimize the results. The results can be displayed as a graph or in table from. Furthermore, the results can be exported in CSV format and as PDF for further processing.  

The KW Schallmessapp was developed by Kutzner + Weber in cooperation with the agency Next Munich. In addition to the technical features it also offers an overview of the various Kutzner + Weber products in the field of flue-gas technology and their use.
