The Multi V IV delivers maximum comfort, producing an exceptionally large volume of cool (or warm) air in a very short period of time.

 

 

II.     High Pressure Oil Return (HiPORTM)

HiPORTM is an industry leading technology that reduces compressor energy wastage. HiPORTM returns oil directly into the compressor, thereby resolving a significant and fundamental HVAC inefficiency. Due to LG’s unique oil return system, the Multi V IV boasts improved part load efficiency across its wide operational range.

 

III.    Vapor Injection

LG’s advanced Vapor Injection system utilizes two-step compression technology and is designed to ensure efficient, reliable heating in extremely cold environments (where outside temperatures reach as low as -15 degrees Celsius). Combined with HiPORTM, the Vapor Injection system boosts integrated energy efficiency by two percent. Additionally, LG’s Vapor Injection technology provides a 27 percent improvement in heating performance.

 

IV.    Active Refrigerant Control

LG’s Active Refrigerant Control automatically regulates the amount of refrigerant circulating each cycle. Able to increase the flow of refrigerant incrementally, this precise, five-step system leads to a 10 percent improvement in part load efficiency and a three percent increase in heating efficiency.

 

V.     Variable Heat Exchanger Circuit

The Variable Heat Exchanger Circuit intelligently selects the optimal flow path for heating and cooling. This smart system contributes a further 15 percent increase to integrated energy efficiency.

 

VI.    Smart Oil Return

Smart Oil Return greatly reduces the likelihood of shut-down during heating operation. This advanced piece of technology employs a precise sensor to monitor oil levels in real time. An oil balancing and return algorithm works in conjunction with the sensor to reduce power consumption, decrease energy wastage and improve reliability.

However, LG’s latest Inverter Single Split employs a new temperature and pressure control sensor that directly analyzes and controls refrigerant pressure and temperature to boost compressor performance and efficiency. Extremely precise, the advanced sensor directly contributes to quicker, more effective, heating and cooling. With LG’s precise pressure control system, the latest Inverter Single Split solutions reach the desired temperature 44 percent faster than their predecessors. The temperature and pressure control sensor also helps to extend the compressor’s operational lifespan and ensures stable performance in all kinds of weather conditions.
